IRIDE LAB
Machine is designed to tint lenses in medium and large ophtalmic labs. Machine utilizes acqueus tinting dyes, either in powder or liquid. Machine is fitted with 9 pots having a volume of 8 liters each. In each pot it is possibile to tint up to 4 pairs of lenses a time. Pots are heated by external electrical heaters. Dye temperature is controlled in a range of ± 0.2 °C. Liquid level is refilled automatrically, its controlled range is between 0 and -0,2 mm. Liquid is continuosly circulated in a laminar flow. Pots are interchangeable and can be replaced in very few minutes with other pots conteining different dye. Each pot has his own graduting lifting system, IRIDE GRAD, drived via PC. Lifter manages tint intensity, solid or gradiuting tint, positiojn and eight of the transition zone. Dying process curve can be customized to level of lens type and lens material. Each tinting process operator designes can be stored in PC and retrieved at any time. An exhausting hood evacuates all vapour generated in pots. A safety basin located in the bottom of the machine prevent to contaminate floor in event of accidental leaks.
IRIDE MASS
Machine is designed to tint lenses in mass production. Machine utilizes acqueus tinting dyes, either in powder or in liquid state. Tinting tank has a volume of 1000 liters and can tint up to 2000 stock lenses a time. Dye can be warmed up via electrical heaters or via heating exchanger using steam or other hot liquid available in the company. Dye temperature is controlled. Liquid level is automaticaally refilled, its controlled range is between 0 and -1 mm. Liquid is continuosly circulated in a laminar flow mode to mantain dye properly distributed. Stock lenses are located in dedicated trays and trays are positioned on a frame. This frame is droved by lifter Iride Grad. Each tinting process can be customized up to level of lens type and lens material. Once designed the tinting process, operator can store the curve in the PC and can retrieve it at any time. Lifter movement is very soft to prevent any kind of Venetian blind. An exhausting hood evacuates all vapour generated in tank. A safety basin located in the bottom of the machine prevents to contaminate floor in event of accidental leaks.
