Machine for cleaning, dip coating and curing of sun lenses, stock ophthalmic lenses and visors. The machine is composed of a PLURITANK ultrasonic cleaning section and a dip coating section followed by a feed-through curing oven.
The machine, which is made of AISI 304 STAINLESS steel (EN 1.4301) throughout, is composed of a cleaning section, a dip coating section, and a curing section. The curing section features compact design to minimize the machine's footprint. The cleaning section uses PLURITANK ultrasonic cleaning technology. The machine is built to customer specifications. The process flow can be left to right or vice versa. The machine hourly throughput is chosen by the customer. The lacquer pots, piping, filters and pumps are all connected with clamps for quick and easy disassembly and reassembly. The four skimmers and laminar lacquer flow eliminate turbulence while ensuring continuous lacquer replacement. On request, the lacquer pots can be made easily replaceable with ready to use pots containing different lacquers. Pots replacement takes just a few minutes. Solvent refilling is automatic. The cleaning tanks are sized to allow also stripping of lacquer contact parts. The machine is accommodated in a casing that protects sensitive areas from external contamination. The internal air is continuously circulated and filtered. The lifting system uses IRIDE technology. The dipping and lifting curve can be customized by resin type and even by lens type. The electromechanics of the lifting systems ensures soft movements along the whole set curve, so as to prevent the creation of horizontal lines. The curing section consists of an oven, which extends also vertically to optimize the machine's footprint. The loading and unloading stations are tended by stacking systems that hold up to ten product batches. The machine throughput rate is one batch every 5 minutes. The dip coating machine, which is compatible with all dipping lacquers, is fully automatic.
